USING THE MOTOR CONTROL 3-PHASE LOW POWER MODULE

Introduction
The user should be aware of the operating procedures outlined below and ensure that
they are followed. Failure to do so may result in damage to the system.
1.2.2
Making Power Connections
It is recommended that cables be terminated with insulated crimp terminals.
If crimp terminals are not used, care should be taken to ensure that stray strands of
wire do not short to adjacent terminals or the enclosure. If possible, all wires should be
stripped and tinned with solder before connecting to the power module terminals.
The recommended input and output cable size is 2.5 mm 2 (14 AWG).
Access to the terminal screws is provided via holes in the lid of the enclosure. A flat
blade screwdriver should be used.
Note:
The user should only access the power terminals when the system is fully
discharged.
The power connections are shown in Table 1-1 and Figure 1-3:
